David Tate Jr. is a kindergarten educator in the great city of Milwaukee and a proud Alumnus of The Literacy Lab’s Leading Men Fellowship. David has an Early Childhood Technical Diploma and an Early Childhood Associates degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College. he has been teaching for 6 strong years now and believes his calling compelled him to find a career in the classroom. David is responsible for providing positive learning experiences for students every day. He strives to model respect, accountability, and safety for any child, family, or staff with which he works. David believes deeply in the power of education and works to ensure that all children have the kind of education that values and validates who they are as people and as learners. He looks forward to working with Literacy Lab staff and Board members to create and maintain such educational opportunities.
